These are my Allstars…

… There are many like them, but these ones are mine!

 I got my beloved Converse Allstars exchanged yesterday as they were falling apart after only three month. Although it’s nice getting something for nothing I can’t help but fell it’s a hollow victory. As tatty as they were my old shoes were certainly mine. All the little marks and scuffs on them all had stories behind them and there dirty and tatty appearance just added to their charm. In December I sat here in a similar situation with the brand new shoes. Over three months those shoes went with me everywhere and had the wear to show this. Anyway, now I’ve got a brand new pair for another three months of chaos back at uni. Who knows what marks will be on them then?

Essays!

When exactly will I post on here?

 It’s interesting that the first line of my first post should be a question but the answer is (at least to me*) interesting. It’s probably going to be when I have an essay do or when I’m drunk. The most interesting posts will probably come at times when I need to do and essay and I’m also drunk. I tend to get most things done at these times, often the results are less than satisfactory but sometimes good things happen. Until then, I’m going to do something less productive.

 *Isn’t that the whole point of blogs?
